Since I started my collegiate journey in 2018 I have been involved with the University of San Fransisco Men's basketball team. I have been a student manager on the team and I have had a variety of responsibilities throughout this time. When I first started with the team I had limited roles such as practice set up and rebounding for the players. I also helped at home games during pregame warm ups and would record the game for future film sessions for the team to talk about improvements from each game. The following year we had a transition with our head coaching position and I had greater responsibilities as student manager. I was asked to travel with the team and assist in the logistics during road games which consisted of following an itinerary, communicating with our bus driver on when we would be leaving the hotels for games, prepping the bus with post game meals for each player and coach prior to the end of the game, and my usual in game responsibilities I had the previous year. Some traveling highlights were playing University of Hawaii, Southern Illinois, and BYU. I have gained valuable experience from helping the team and have built long lasting friendships with both players and the coaching staff.
